Romes Release New Track "Deja Vu"

NEW YORK, NY, FEBRUARY 24, 2017—Toronto quartet ROMES release new track “Deja Vu” via Five Seven Music today (February 24) across all digital platforms. Evolving the band’s unique, irresistible sound, the up-tempo track’s emotive lyrics and soaring riffs are swept across an indie-rock, pop-tinged landscape. Listen to “Deja Vu” HERE.

“‘Deja Vu’ was written at a time when I seemed trapped in an endless cycle of fear; fears of commitment, not allowing myself to love, and the anxieties that came with the inability to access my emotions to connect with the people who had given me their undivided love.”  –Jacob Alexander, ROMES

ROMES launch their #ROMES2017 livestream series with an exclusive performance featuring “Deja Vu” TODAY at 5:30pm EST via Facebook Live. Tune in HERE.

“Deja Vu” is the first of new music off ROMES’ upcoming self-titled album, out later this year. Featured in Alternative Press’ 17 Artists to Watch in 2017, ROMES kicked off the new year with a timely reimagining of the The Who’s 1960’s anthem, “My Generation.” The track follows the release of their impressive 2016 debut EP Believe, known for its empowering title track as well as acclaimed track “Tryna Be.” Stream the EP HERE.
